Northallerton Male Voice Choir

History

Throughout the Choir's long History it has been proud to have performed alongside some very talented soloists. Local musicians who have appeared with the Choir include pianist Heather Nash, a member of the Royal Academy of Music and Peter Ellis, a Baritone and winner of the Operatic class at the Darlington Music Festival.

The Choir has also appeared in concerts alongside Easington Colliery Band, the Hull Lydian Male Voice Choir and the Yorkshire Traction Brass Band. Over the years the Choir has sung at the London Royal Albert Hall, Durham Cathedral and the Newcastle-Upon-Tyne City Hall. The Choir undertook a successful trip to Paris to take part in the Ormusicales 2000 music festival, appearing alongside both French and German choirs.

Several members of the choir have also performed at The Royal Albert Hall between 1997 and 2018; also at Sheffield Arena in 2000, all in aid of Cancer Research.
